Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management, for professionals who identify, assess, respond to and monitor project risk. It suits risk specialists, senior project managers, PMO analysts and consultants across Czechia.

    General

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management, for professionals who identify, assess, respond to and monitor project risk. It suits risk specialists, senior project managers, PMO analysts and consultants across Czechia.

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Czechia?

Yes. PMI-RMP is a globally recognised credential valued by Czech employers in energy, automotive, banking and business services. Industry estimates suggest a 20 to 25 per cent pay premium over generalist roles, and it opens senior risk positions. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your route.

    Is PMP required before PMI-RMP?

No. PMP is not a prerequisite. You can apply for PMI-RMP directly based on your risk management experience and education, though many holders also hold PMP because the two credentials are complementary.

How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle.

    Is PMI-RMP recognised internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential, PMI-RMP is recognised by employers worldwide, and is especially valued in high-risk sectors such as energy, construction, defence and financial services where formal project risk management is required.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMI-RMP course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 32 contact hours, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable templates and application guidance, plus learner support and a course completion certificate. Request a quote for current pricing in Czechia.

How much does PMI-RMP training cost in Czechia?

Training fees vary by format and provider and are quoted locally. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD under regional pricing and is not part of the training fee. Contact a learning advisor for a tailored quote.

How much is the PMI-RMP exam fee?

PMI bills the exam fee in USD under regional pricing, with members paying less than non-members. PMI membership also lowers the exam fee and gives free access to the PMI Practice Standard for Project Risk Management. Confirm current fees on pmi.org.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs and delivery teams across Czechia. Ask about corporate pricing for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

The PMI-RMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline (January 2022). It uses single-answer and multiple-answer questions across five risk management domains.

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 115 questions and a duration of 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is delivered online with Pearson VUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and weights?

There are five domains per the current ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level performance feedback, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

PMI permits up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts, and the training includes mock exams and preparation support to help you pass with confidence.

    Course Content

What are the eligibility requirements for PMI-RMP?

PMI sets three routes. Set A (secondary diploma) needs 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years plus 40 hours of risk education; Set B (bachelor's) needs 24 months plus 30 hours; Set C (GAC-accredited degree) needs 12 months plus 30 hours.

Does this training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

Yes. The 32 contact hours fully satisfy the 30-hour education requirement for Set B and Set C candidates. Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 further hours of risk management education.

What topics does the PMI-RMP training cover?

The training covers all five ECO domains: risk strategy and planning, identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, response, and monitoring and closing risks, across predictive, agile and hybrid projects.

Do I need prior experience to attend the training?

Anyone can attend the training, but to sit the exam PMI requires documented project risk management experience and education. Our advisors can help you check which eligibility route fits your background.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the ECO and the PMI-RMP Handbook, risk analysis templates, practice questions and full-length mock exams to build exam readiness.
