What Is Six Sigma Awareness Training?UntitledA Practical Introduction to Data-Driven Quality
The Six Sigma Awareness Training is a one-day, non-certification course that introduces the Six Sigma methodology, a data-driven approach to reducing process variation and eliminating defects. It gives employees, managers and leaders in Costa Rica a clear, working understanding of how process improvement is run, without needing to become a practising Green Belt or Black Belt. You will explore the DMAIC roadmap (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control), core concepts such as defects, variation and Defects Per Million Opportunities, the Six Sigma role hierarchy, and how Lean Six Sigma combines waste reduction with variation control. First developed at Motorola in the 1980s and made famous by GE, the methodology now underpins quality and operational excellence programmes across Costa Rica's medical device, manufacturing and global services employers. Delivered in live virtual and onsite formats, this awareness course helps your people speak the same improvement language and contribute to projects from day one. On completion you receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. Start building a shared quality culture with Invensis Learning.
