What Is Lean Fundamentals Training in Costa Rica?UntitledA Practical Introduction to Lean
Lean Fundamentals Training in Costa Rica is a one-day, introductory programme that gives professionals a practical grounding in Lean management: the philosophy, principles and everyday tools used to eliminate waste and improve process flow. Rooted in the Toyota Production System developed by Taiichi Ohno and Shigeo Shingo at Toyota, the course teaches the five Lean principles (Identify Value, Map the Value Stream, Create Flow, Establish Pull, Seek Perfection) and how to spot the eight wastes summarised by DOWNTIME. Across Costa Rica's medical device plants, free-zone manufacturers and global services centres, Lean thinking is how teams raise quality, cut lead times and get more from the same resources. You will learn foundational tools including 5S, an introduction to Value Stream Mapping, Kanban pull systems, standard work and Kaizen, then practise identifying waste in realistic scenarios. This is a skills-focused course with no examination. You finish with a shared Lean vocabulary you can apply immediately and a course completion record from Invensis Learning, making it the ideal first step before deeper Lean and quality training.
