Is Kaizen training worth it for professionals in Costa Rica?

Is there an exam at the end of the training?

No. This is a non-certification course, so there is no exam. Your learning is reinforced through hands-on workshop simulation, team exercises and group discussion during the day.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

Learning is assessed informally through practical activities. You plan and practise elements of a Kaizen event using realistic process scenarios, so you apply each concept as you learn it rather than sitting a formal test.

What do I receive when I complete the training?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning confirming you have completed the Kaizen programme. It recognises the practical continuous improvement skills you have built.

Will I be able to run a Kaizen event after the course?

What topics does the Kaizen training cover?

The course covers the Kaizen philosophy, the PDCA cycle, waste identification, planning and running a Kaizen event, core Lean tools such as 5S, standard work and the spaghetti diagram, and how to sustain improvements and build a continuous improvement culture.

Which frameworks is the training based on?

Kaizen is rooted in Lean management and the Toyota Production System, and was introduced to global industry by Masaaki Imai in 1986. The course grounds you in the PDCA cycle and the eight wastes, and links Kaizen to Six Sigma, 5S and value stream mapping.

Do I need prior Lean knowledge to follow the content?

No. The course builds every concept from first principles, so beginners can follow it comfortably. If you already know Lean basics, you will move quickly and focus on facilitation and sustaining gains.

What tools will I learn to use?
