What Is Project Management Fundamentals Training?UntitledA Practical Start in Project Delivery
Project Management Fundamentals (PMF) training in Calgary is a foundation-level programme that teaches the essential principles, processes and tools used to manage projects from initiation through to closure. You learn how to plan scope, schedule, cost, resources and risk, and how to keep a project on track from the first idea to final delivery. The course is built around a practical five-module syllabus that covers project management concepts, project influences, the role of the project manager, the full project management cycle, and an overview of Agile projects. It introduces predictive (plan-based) methods alongside Agile and business-analysis approaches, so you leave with a rounded view of how modern projects are run in energy, construction, technology and public-sector organisations across Calgary. There is no exam and no prior experience is required. Over two days (16 hours) of instructor-led learning, you take part in lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises, then receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning. It is an ideal first step for anyone whose work supports projects, and a strong base if you later pursue further study such as CAPM, PMP or PRINCE2.
