    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 Examination Content Outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%) and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%). It is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 questions and a duration of three hours (180 minutes). It is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

    Where can I take the CAPM exam in Toronto?

    You can sit the CAPM exam via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre in Toronto. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility period.

    What happens if I do not pass the exam the first time?

    You are permitted up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window from application approval. A re-examination fee applies to the second and third attempts. Our practice questions and mock exams are designed to help you pass on your first attempt.
