    Project Management Fundamentals

    Predictive, Plan-Based Delivery

Learn how traditional projects are planned and controlled through the five process groups, and apply scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk and procurement management, including the work breakdown structure, critical path and earned value basics.

    Business Analysis Essentials

    Exam-Ready Confidence

Practise with questions modelled on the 150-question, three-hour CAPM format, learn time-management and elimination techniques, and use mock exams to find and close your weak areas before test day.

    Pricing

How much does CAPM training cost in Halifax?

What is included in the CAPM course fee?

The fee usually covers PMI-aligned courseware, 24 hours of instructor-led training, mock exams and practice questions, downloadable resources, guidance on the PMI application, learner support and a course completion certificate. Talk to a learning advisor to confirm what is included in your plan.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

    Exam

What does the CAPM exam cover?

The CAPM exam is based on the 2023 Examination Content Outline and covers four domains: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%). It draws on the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

How long is the CAPM exam and how many questions are there?

The CAPM exam has 150 questions and lasts three hours (180 minutes). It is closed book and uses multiple-choice question formats, delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail, with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of the whole outline.

How many attempts do I get and can I retake the exam?

You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from the date your application is approved. Reexamination fees apply to later attempts; confirm the current amounts on the PMI store.

How long is CAPM valid and how do I renew it?

CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike PMP, CAPM renewal requires retaking and passing the CAPM exam rather than earning PDUs. There is no PDU-based renewal for CAPM.

Can a complete beginner take this course?

What learning materials and practice are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, case studies and downloadable resources. These are mapped to the CAPM Examination Content Outline to help you find and close weak areas before the exam.
