    Who should take this certification?

    Do I need a Yellow Belt or prior experience first?

    No. There are no prerequisites for the Green Belt. Training and real-world experience are recommended but not mandatory, so you can start at Green Belt level and still succeed with structured preparation.

    How long is the certification valid?

    The IASSC Green Belt holds Current status for three years from the date of certification. To maintain it, you pass the recertification exam, which is 75 questions over two hours with a minimum 70 percent score.

    The training fee typically includes instructor-led sessions, courseware aligned to the IASSC Green Belt Body of Knowledge, practice questions, mock tests and learner support, plus a course completion certificate. Request a quote for the full inclusions.

    How much does Green Belt training cost in Bermuda?

    Is the exam fee included in the training price?

    No. The IASSC exam voucher is billed separately in USD and its price varies by location and region. The training fee covers your preparation, courseware and learner support, not the exam itself.

    Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

    Exam

    What is the format of the Green Belt exam?

    The exam is closed book and uses multiple-choice and true or false questions based on the IASSC Green Belt Body of Knowledge. It can be taken through online proctoring on demand or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are there and how long is the exam?

    The exam has 100 questions and a three-hour allotted time. Some exam forms include up to 10 additional unscored questions that do not count towards your result.

    What is the passing score?

    You need a minimum score of 385 out of 550 points to pass. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the five DMAIC phases, so broad mastery across all of them is the safest approach.

    Where can I sit the exam?

    You can sit the exam through web-based online proctoring, available on demand, or at one of more than 8,000 Pearson VUE test centres across 165 countries. You choose the delivery option when you purchase your voucher.

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    Our preparation, practice questions and mock tests are designed to get you exam-ready the first time. If you need to resit, you can purchase another exam voucher and use the optional readiness check to confirm you are prepared before booking.

    Course Content

    What topics does the training cover?

    The training covers all five DMAIC phases: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. You learn process mapping, measurement system analysis, hypothesis testing, regression, designed experiments, Lean tools and statistical process control.

    Do I need a statistics background to keep up?

    No. The course is built for working professionals and introduces the statistical tools step by step with worked examples and hands-on practice, so beginners can follow along and apply the methods with confidence.

    Are practice tests and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full mock tests modelled on the 100-question, three-hour exam format, helping you identify weak areas and build readiness before the real exam.

    Is the courseware aligned to the latest body of knowledge?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current IASSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge, which is structured around the five DMAIC phases, so you study exactly what the exam evaluates.

    Will I receive a certificate after the training?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate after meeting the course requirements. The IASSC Green Belt credential itself is awarded separately once you pass the official exam.
