    Will this course make me a certified Six Sigma professional?

    No. It builds practical DFSS design skills and complements Six Sigma programmes, but it does not award a Green Belt or Black Belt. It is skills training in the design-side counterpart to DMAIC, not a certification.

    How long is the Design for Six Sigma training?

    The course runs for one day (eight hours), covering all six DMADV phases from DFSS foundations through VOC, QFD, concept selection, Design FMEA, robust design and design verification. It can also be delivered as two half-days to suit your team.

    What DFSS tools will I practise?

    You will practise VOC-to-CTQ flow-down, building a QFD House of Quality, Pugh concept selection and a Design FMEA worksheet, all applied to realistic product or process design scenarios you can relate to your own work.

    Is the course based on a recognised methodology?

    Yes. It is grounded in the established Design for Six Sigma body of knowledge and the DMADV roadmap, the most widely used DFSS framework, drawing on QFD, FMEA and Taguchi robust design.
