How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

The PgMP exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and an allotted time of four hours. Questions are distributed across the five programme management performance domains defined in the PgMP Examination Content Outline.

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment in which a panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented programme experience. You must pass both the panel review and the written exam to earn the PgMP. Our training includes guidance on documenting your experience.

Is there a fixed passing score for the PgMP exam?

No. PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with performance reported by domain, so aim for broad mastery across all five performance domains rather than a single target score.
