Is there an exam at the end of the course?

No. Kaizen training is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Kaizen event simulation, team exercises and group discussion during the one-day programme, so you practise the method as you learn it.

What do I receive on completing the training?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. No formal certification or credential is awarded by an external body, because the Kaizen method has none. The real outcome is practical facilitation skills you can apply straight away.

How are the skills assessed during the day?

There is no formal assessment. Instead you apply the method through workshop simulation, practising Gemba observation, root-cause analysis, future-state design and standard work. This hands-on approach checks understanding by having you do the work, not sit a test.

Will this training give me a formal qualification?

The programme runs for one day, totalling eight hours. It can be delivered as a full day or as two extended half-days. Each version covers all six Kaizen modules with concept explanations, real-world examples and hands-on simulation exercises.

Are there hands-on exercises in the course?

Yes. Hands-on workshop simulation runs throughout the day. You practise planning and facilitating elements of a Kaizen event using realistic process scenarios, so you leave able to apply the tools rather than just recall them.

Which Lean tools will I learn to use?

You work with 5 Whys, the fishbone diagram, process flow mapping, 5S, standard work, the spaghetti diagram, time and cycle-time observation, and the Kaizen newspaper for tracking actions. These are the core tools used within Kaizen events.

Does the course cover sustaining improvements?

Yes. A full module covers why gains fade and how to prevent it, using standard work, visual management, layered process audits and 30-60-90 day follow-up, plus how to embed daily Kaizen and build a continuous improvement culture.
