Is the ITIL 5 Bridge worth it in Vietnam?

What credential do I receive after passing?

Passing the bridge exam grants the ITIL 5 Foundation credential, equivalent to sitting the full ITIL 5 Foundation exam. It enables progression to all higher ITIL 5 qualifications.

How long is the ITIL 5 credential valid?

The ITIL 5 Foundation credential earned through the bridge is valid for three years. Renewal requires earning 60 CPD points within each three-year cycle via PeopleCert.

Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. PeopleCert operates in over 200 countries, and the ITIL 5 Foundation credential awarded through the bridge is globally recognised and equivalent to the full ITIL 5 Foundation credential.

How much does ITIL 5 Bridge training cost in Vietnam?

ITIL 5 Bridge training fees vary by format and provider and are available on request. The PeopleCert exam fee is billed separately in USD, EUR or GBP under regional pricing. Request a quote for current pricing in Vietnam.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes ITIL 5 aligned courseware, case studies, practice questions, mock exams and learner support. Confirm whether the PeopleCert exam voucher is included when you enrol.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

What is the format of the ITIL 5 Bridge exam?

The ITIL Foundation Bridge Version 5 exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions, delivered by PeopleCert. It focuses only on what is new and changed in ITIL 5 relative to ITIL 4.

How many questions are in the exam and how long is it?

The bridge exam has 20 questions and lasts 30 minutes. It is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions.

What is the passing score?

The pass mark for the ITIL 5 Bridge exam is 65%, which is 13 out of 20 questions correct.

How is the exam delivered?

You can sit the exam online through PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at a PeopleCert authorised test centre. Both options are available to candidates in Vietnam.

What are the prerequisites for the exam?

ITIL 4 Foundation certification is required to take the bridge exam. Candidates without ITIL 4 Foundation should take the full ITIL 5 Foundation qualification instead.

What does the bridge exam cover?

The exam covers five topic areas: Key Enhancements in ITIL (Version 5); Digital Product and Service Management Evolution; Updated Language and Core Concepts; Enhanced Value Creation Approach; and Applying ITIL (Version 5) in Practice.

Course Content

What will I learn in the ITIL 5 Bridge course?

You will learn what is new and changed in ITIL 5, including the product and service lifecycle, value stream mapping and management, the evolved ITIL Value System and the updated value co-creation model with experience and sustainability.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

You need to hold ITIL 4 Foundation, as the bridge builds on that knowledge. No further work experience is required, and the training assumes your existing ITIL 4 understanding as a baseline.

How long is the training?

The ITIL 5 Bridge training runs for one day (8 hours). It can also be delivered as two half-days, covering only ITIL 5 new and updated content.

What learning materials are provided?

You receive ITIL 5 aligned courseware, industry case studies illustrating the changes, practice questions and mock exams to prepare for the bridge exam.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest ITIL version?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the official AXELOS ITIL Foundation Bridge Version 5 syllabus, covering the move from ITIL 4 to ITIL 5.

Should I take the bridge or the full ITIL 5 Foundation?

If you hold ITIL 4 Foundation, the bridge is the faster route to ITIL 5 Foundation, one day rather than two. If you do not hold ITIL 4 Foundation, take the full ITIL 5 Foundation qualification instead.
