    General

What is the CAPM certification and who is it for?

Is the CAPM worth it in Uruguay?

Yes. Uruguay's technology, fintech and banking sectors are professionalising project delivery, and a globally recognised PMI credential helps early-career professionals stand out for coordinator, analyst and junior project manager roles. It is also a recognised step toward the PMP.

Do I need work experience to take CAPM?

No. CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no project management work experience. You need a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma or global equivalent, plus 23 hours of project management education, which this course provides.

How long is the CAPM certification valid?

CAPM is valid for three years. To renew, you retake and pass the CAPM exam within the three-year cycle. Unlike the PMP, CAPM renewal does not use PDUs.

    Is CAPM recognised internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential, CAPM is recognised by employers in over 200 countries. In Uruguay and abroad it signals foundational project management knowledge and a commitment to the profession.
