    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination of 40 questions. It can be taken online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited test centre, and is based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and you have 90 minutes to complete it. It is a closed-book exam delivered online or at a test centre.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions correct. Focus on broad mastery across all five topic areas rather than any single section.

    What topics does the exam cover?

    The exam covers five areas: the agile way of thinking, the Scrum Master role, agile estimating, planning, monitoring and control, complex projects, and adopting agile, weighted per the EXIN examination specification.

    What happens if I do not pass on the first attempt?
