    Which edition of PRINCE2 does the course cover?

    The course is based on PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert and AXELOS. The seventh edition introduces the People capability as a core element, renames Themes to Practices, and integrates agile, sustainability and commercial management.

    Who governs the PRINCE2 certification?

    PRINCE2 was created by AXELOS and is now owned, published and examined by PeopleCert, which acquired AXELOS in 2021. PeopleCert delivers the Foundation exam through online proctoring or authorised test centres worldwide.

    How long is the PRINCE2 Foundation certification valid?

    What if I do not pass the PRINCE2 Foundation exam first time?

    The training includes practice questions and mock exams to prepare you thoroughly for a first-time pass. If a resit is needed, PeopleCert allows re-examination; confirm the current resit policy and fee at peoplecert.org. Our team supports your preparation throughout.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the PRINCE2 7 Foundation Syllabus. It is delivered online through PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The PRINCE2 Foundation exam has 60 questions and lasts 60 minutes (1 hour). You must answer at least 36 correctly to reach the 60% pass mark.

    Are there any prerequisites for the exam?

    No. PRINCE2 Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to everyone regardless of education, experience or prior project management knowledge. Attending an accredited course is recommended to prepare well.

    Where can I take the PRINCE2 Foundation exam in Uganda?

    You can sit the exam online from home or office through PeopleCert's OnVUE proctoring, available around the clock, or at an authorised test centre. The voucher is typically arranged as part of your training package.

    Can a beginner take this course without project experience?

    Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is designed for people new to project management or to PRINCE2, so no prior experience is needed. The training builds understanding step by step, from the principles through to the processes.

    What topics does the PRINCE2 Foundation training cover?

    Training covers the full PRINCE2 7 method: the seven principles, the People capability, the seven practices (Business Case, Organising, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues and Progress) and the seven processes, plus tailoring and management products.

    How long is the PRINCE2 Foundation training?

    The programme runs for around 16 hours, typically delivered as an intensive two-day course or as extended half-day sessions. It covers all Foundation syllabus areas and prepares you for the exam.
