What This Project Scheduling Course CoversUntitledA Hands-On Route to Confident Planning
Microsoft Project Training (MS Project Training) is a practical, hands-on software course that teaches you to plan, schedule, resource and track projects using Microsoft Project, the industry-leading project scheduling tool from Microsoft Corporation. Delivered in Uganda in live virtual, classroom and corporate formats, the training builds the everyday software proficiency that project managers, coordinators and planners need to control real work. The course runs at two progressive levels. Fundamentals is a 2-day (16-hour) programme for new or occasional users covering project setup, task scheduling, dependencies, the critical path, resources, baselines and progress reporting. Advanced is a 3-day (24-hour) programme for experienced users covering resource levelling, cost management and Earned Value, custom views and reports, master projects and programme-level scheduling. You work in Microsoft Project throughout, using realistic scenarios rather than theory. This is a non-certification skills course, so there is no examination. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning, and the skills apply directly to how project teams plan and report across Uganda's fast-growing oil, construction, telecom and development sectors. Microsoft Project runs as Standard, Professional and Project Online for Microsoft 365, and complements project management approaches such as the PMI PMBOK Guide, PRINCE2, the Critical Path Method and Earned Value Management.
