    Is the PMI-RMP worth it in Trinidad and Tobago?

    Yes. Trinidad and Tobago's energy, financial and infrastructure sectors run high-risk projects and value certified risk talent, which remains scarce locally. Specialist risk roles range from around TT$155K to TT$209K and higher, making the credential a strong career and earning move.

    Do I need a PMP before taking the PMI-RMP?

    No. A PMP is not a prerequisite for the PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many holders do carry both, since the two credentials are complementary, but the PMI-RMP stands on its own as a specialist risk qualification.

    How long is the PMI-RMP valid and how is it renewed?

    The PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) programme.

    Is the PMI-RMP recognised internationally?

    The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 32 contact hours of risk education, practice questions, mock exams, scenario exercises, application guidance and learner support with a course completion certificate.     What if I do not pass the PMI-RMP exam first time?

    You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period, and our training includes practice questions, mock exams and exam-readiness support to help you pass. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts; confirm current amounts on the PMI store.

    How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

    The PMI-RMP exam has 115 questions and lasts 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

    What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

    There are five domains per the current ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

    What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback (Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement), so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

    Where can I take the PMI-RMP exam?

    You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctored system or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your eligibility period.

    Which standard is the PMI-RMP exam based on?

    The exam is based on the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline (ECO), effective January 2022, and aligned to PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management and the PMBOK Guide. The January 2022 ECO covers both predictive and agile or hybrid risk approaches.

    Course Content

    Do I need prior experience to take this training?

    No. Anyone can enrol in the training to build risk skills and earn contact hours. Exam eligibility is separate: PMI requires documented project risk experience and education, which our advisors can help you map before you apply.

    What topics does the PMI-RMP training cover?

    The training covers all five risk domains: risk strategy and planning, risk identification, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, risk response, and monitoring and closing risks, plus exam strategy and application guidance, aligned to the current ECO.

    Does this training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

    The programme delivers 32 contact hours, which fully satisfies the 30-hour education requirement for Set B (bachelor's degree) and Set C (GAC-accredited degree) applicants. Set A applicants (secondary diploma) need 40 hours and should add at least 8 hours of supplementary risk education.

    Are practice questions and mock exams included?

    Yes. The programme includes ECO-aligned practice questions, full-length mock exams and scenario-based exercises to help you identify weak areas and build readiness for the 115-question format.
