    What is the format of the PMI-CP exam?

    The PMI-CP exam is closed book with multiple-choice questions in single-answer and multiple-answer formats. It is based on the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline, the current PMBOK Guide and construction industry standards, and is delivered by Pearson VUE.

    How many questions are on the PMI-CP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 120 questions and you have 230 minutes, which is 3 hours and 50 minutes, to complete it. Questions are distributed across the four ECO domains, with Contracts Management the largest at 50%.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery of all four domains.

    Where can I sit the PMI-CP exam in Trinidad and Tobago?

    You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility period.

    How many attempts do I get and can I retake it?

    You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Confirm the current amounts on the PMI store before rebooking.

    Can a beginner or career changer take this training?
