    Is there an exam for this course?

    No. Six Sigma Awareness Training is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through interactive discussion, real-world case examples and team exercises during the one-day programme.

    How is learning assessed?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, interactive discussions and team exercises throughout the day let you apply Six Sigma concepts to your own work context as you learn.

    What do I receive on completion?

    Does this qualify me to lead Six Sigma projects?

    No. This is an awareness-level course and does not qualify you to lead DMAIC projects. To lead projects, progress to Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt or Black Belt training.

    What can I do after completing the course?

    You will be able to use Six Sigma vocabulary confidently, understand the five DMAIC phases, recognise the main tools and roles, and support improvement projects. It is also an ideal foundation before Yellow or Green Belt training.

    Course Content

    What topics does the course cover?

    The programme covers six areas: Six Sigma history, philosophy and business case; key concepts and terminology; the DMAIC methodology; Six Sigma roles and structure; an awareness-level tour of the key tools; and Lean Six Sigma in practice.

    What is DMAIC and will I learn it?

    DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) is the core Six Sigma roadmap for improving existing processes. The course gives you an awareness-level understanding of all five phases and what happens in each.

    Do I need a statistics background?

    No. Concepts such as DPMO, variation and process capability are introduced at an awareness level in plain language, with real-world examples, so you can follow them without any prior statistical training.

    How long is the training and how is it delivered?

    The course runs for one day (about 8 hours) and is delivered live online, in the classroom, or on-site for corporate teams. It combines concept explanations, case examples and interactive discussion.

    What materials are provided?

    You receive structured course materials covering all six modules, plus the real-world case examples and exercises used during the session, and a course completion record on finishing.
