What Is Quality Function Deployment Training in Poland?UntitledVoice of the Customer to House of Quality

Quality Function Deployment Training in Poland is a practical, one-day course that teaches you to translate the Voice of the Customer into clear engineering and design decisions using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and the House of Quality matrix. Developed in Japan by Yoji Akao and Shigeru Mizuno, QFD helps teams design quality in from the start rather than inspect it in later. Across eight focused hours you learn to capture customer needs, apply the Kano model, build all six rooms of the House of Quality, resolve trade-offs through the correlation roof, and cascade requirements through the four-phase QFD system from product planning to production control. You also see how QFD strengthens Design for Six Sigma, DMAIC and service design, and complements ISO 9001:2015 customer-focus practice. Built for product designers, quality engineers, R&D professionals and Six Sigma practitioners in Poland's automotive, electronics and appliance sectors, this is a non-certification programme with no exam. You leave with a course completion record from Invensis Learning and the confidence to lead your own House of Quality workshop.

Why Polish Manufacturers Need Customer-Driven Design

    EV and Battery Ramp-Up

Poland's fast-growing EV and battery sector must design new products right the first time. QFD connects customer, safety and performance needs to measurable engineering characteristics before tooling is committed.

QFD links customer needs to engineering targets

    Automotive APQP Pressure

Tier-1 and OEM suppliers must show customer-requirement traceability for IATF 16949 and APQP deliverables. The House of Quality gives structured, auditable evidence from customer need to design specification.

QFD provides House of Quality traceability

    Late Design Changes Cost Margin

Thin manufacturing margins punish rework and late redesign. QFD exposes design conflicts through the correlation roof early, so teams resolve trade-offs before expensive prototypes are built.

    QFD surfaces design conflicts early

    Customer Voice Lost in Handoff

Needs captured by marketing rarely survive intact into engineering specifications. QFD makes the Voice of the Customer visible and traceable across every stage of product development.

QFD keeps requirements visible and traceable

    From Inspection to Design Quality

Many plants still catch defects late on the line. QFD builds quality in during design, a capability still in short supply across much of Polish industry and highly valued by employers.

QFD builds quality in at the design stage

    Service and Software Growth

Poland's large IT and shared-services sector increasingly applies QFD to translate user and stakeholder requirements into architecture, test criteria and service delivery standards.

    QFD adapts beyond manufacturing

The fee covers instructor-led delivery of all six QFD modules, hands-on House of Quality exercises, courseware and templates, worked examples, learner support, and a course completion record from Invensis Learning.

Are there any extra fees beyond the training?

No. This is a non-certification course, so there is no separate exam fee. The training fee covers the full one-day programme and its materials.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. Group and corporate pricing is available for teams and departments. Request a tailored quote and we will build an option around your numbers and preferred delivery format.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfer, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for the QFD course?

No. This is a non-certification programme with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on House of Quality construction, Kano classification and team activities during the day.

What will I receive on completion?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning confirming you completed the one-day Quality Function Deployment programme. There is no external credential, as QFD has no awarding body.

How is learning assessed during the course?

Through practical exercises rather than a formal test. You build and interpret a House of Quality, classify needs with the Kano model, and calculate column importance, applying each concept as you learn it.

Will I be able to build a House of Quality afterwards?

Yes. You practise building and interpreting all six rooms during the training, so you can facilitate a Voice of the Customer session and a House of Quality workshop for your own team.

Do these skills expire or need renewal?

No. QFD and House of Quality skills do not expire and require no renewal. They are immediately applicable to product development, service design and quality planning work.

    Course Content

What topics does the QFD training cover?

It covers QFD foundations and the business case, Voice of the Customer capture, the Kano model and affinity diagrams, full House of Quality construction, matrix interpretation, four-phase QFD cascading, and QFD in DFSS, DMAIC and services.

What is the House of Quality?

The House of Quality is the core QFD matrix that links customer requirements (the WHATs) to engineering characteristics (the HOWs) across six rooms, including the relationship matrix, the correlation roof, competitive benchmarking and engineering targets.

    How long is the course?

The programme runs for one day (8 hours), also available as two half-days. It covers all six modules with hands-on House of Quality exercises running throughout the day.

Does it cover QFD for services and software?

Yes. The course shows how to apply QFD beyond manufacturing, including healthcare, financial services, IT service design and software, wherever customer requirements must become design or delivery specifications.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive structured courseware, House of Quality templates, worked product and service examples, and hands-on exercises you can reuse when running QFD in your own organisation.
