    Is QFD a recognised methodology I can rely on?

    The course covers QFD foundations and the business case, Voice of the Customer capture, the affinity diagram and Kano model, full House of Quality construction across six rooms, interpreting the matrix, four-phase QFD cascading, and QFD in DFSS, DMAIC and service design.

    How long is the QFD training?

    The programme runs for one day, delivered as a full-day intensive of eight hours or as two extended half-day sessions. It covers all six QFD modules with hands-on House of Quality exercises throughout.

    Does QFD apply to services and software, not just manufacturing?

    Yes. While QFD originated in manufacturing, the course covers its use in services such as healthcare and financial services, and in software design. The House of Quality applies wherever customer requirements must be translated into design or delivery specifications.

    What materials and resources are provided?

    You receive structured course materials, House of Quality templates, realistic product and service examples, and hands-on exercises. These help you apply the methodology to your own products after the training.

    How does QFD fit with Six Sigma?

    QFD is a core tool in Design for Six Sigma, used in the DMADV Measure phase to translate the Voice of the Customer into CTQs, and in the DMAIC Define phase for VOC translation. The course shows exactly how to use it in both.
