    How long is the IASSC Yellow Belt certification valid?

    What is the format of the IASSC Yellow Belt exam?

    The IASSC Yellow Belt exam is a closed-book test of 60 multiple-choice and true or false questions, with a two-hour time limit. Some forms include up to six additional unscored questions. It covers all five DMAIC phases.

    What is the passing score for the Yellow Belt exam?

    You need a minimum of 230 points out of 300 to pass the IASSC Yellow Belt exam. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control phases.

    Are there prerequisites to sit the Yellow Belt exam?

    No. IASSC sets no prerequisites for the Yellow Belt exam. Training and real-world experience are recommended but not mandatory, which makes it an accessible first certification.

    How and where do I take the exam?
