What Is Business Process Management?UntitledA Practical Discipline for Better Processes

Business Process Management (BPM) is a structured discipline for identifying, modelling, analysing, improving and monitoring the processes an organisation runs on, so that work flows efficiently and delivers value to customers. This instructor-led Business Process Management training in the Philippines gives professionals practical command of the full BPM lifecycle, from process identification through to continuous improvement. The programme is grounded in globally recognised standards. It uses BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation, ISO/IEC 19510) for process modelling and draws on the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK), the ISO 9001:2015 process approach and Lean Six Sigma improvement tools. It is a hands-on skills programme built around capability you can apply at work, not a test to sit. Whether you work in a Manila outsourcing centre, a bank, a shared services hub or a government agency, BPM skills help you map how work really happens, find the waste, and redesign processes that are faster, cheaper and more reliable. Start building that capability with Invensis Learning.

What BPM Skills Do for You and Your TeamOutcomes That Show up at Work

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

Business Process Management training gives you skills you can use immediately. You learn to look at any workflow, understand how it really behaves, and improve it in a structured way rather than by guesswork. The training suits business analysts, process owners, operations and service delivery managers, IT professionals and quality practitioners. Whether you are formalising how you already work with processes, moving into a dedicated process role, or supporting a transformation programme, this training builds capability employers in the Philippines value across sectors.

If you want to be the person who can map, measure and improve how work flows, BPM is a clear next step. You gain the BPM lifecycle, BPMN 2.0 modelling and a practical toolkit for analysis and redesign that transfers straight into your day job.

    • Read, model and document any business process using BPMN 2.0 swimlane diagrams
    • Spot the waste, bottlenecks and rework that slow work down and raise costs
    • Redesign processes to be faster, simpler and more reliable
    • Speak the shared language of process owners, analysts and IT teams

    For Organizations

    For Organizations

BPM group training helps organisations build process capability by equipping teams with a structured method for modelling, analysing and improving how work flows. The training can be delivered for operations teams, shared services, PMOs, quality functions or cross-functional groups. For organisations looking to cut waste, standardise practice and prepare processes for automation, this training provides a scalable, flexible solution.

If your teams manage processes with different tools and no common language, BPM group training creates one shared approach. People learn to model in BPMN 2.0, analyse performance and redesign flows, often using the organisation's own real processes during the session for immediate value.

    • Give teams one shared method and notation for managing processes
    • Connect day-to-day delivery to strategy and customer value
    • Reduce process waste, cycle time and cost across the organisation
    • Document and standardise processes for audit, quality and compliance
    • Prepare processes properly before automating with RPA or BPMS
    • Build in-house process ownership and governance capability
    • Train cross-functional teams together on your real processes
    • Deliver onsite, live virtual or blended to fit team schedules

Why BPM Capability Is in Demand Across the Philippines

    Automation Without Redesign

Organisations rush to automate with RPA and AI, but automating a broken process only makes mistakes faster. Employers need people who can redesign the process first, the core of BPM.

BPM builds process analysis and redesign skills

    The Strategy-To-Execution Gap

Global capability centres and enterprises fund transformation but struggle to connect strategy to how work actually flows, causing value leakage that process leaders are hired to close.

BPM builds strategic alignment and governance skills

    Scaling Shared Services

Shared services hubs in Manila and Cebu run hundreds of processes that need consistent BPMN modelling, documentation and governance to stay reliable as they scale.

BPM builds process modelling and governance skills

    The Process-Skills Shortage

As routine tasks are automated, demand shifts to analysts who can map, measure and improve end-to-end flows. This process capability is scarce relative to the size of the workforce.

BPM makes process-capable professionals stand out

    Compliance and Consistency Pressure

Banking, insurance and healthcare need documented, standardised processes for audit and quality. BPM gives teams the modelling and governance discipline to deliver them.

BPM builds standardisation and documentation skills

    Cost and Margin Pressure

Providers must cut cycle time and waste to protect margins. Structured process improvement lets organisations remove low-value work and rebalance effort toward what matters.

BPM builds waste-elimination and optimisation skills

    General

What is Business Process Management (BPM)?

Business Process Management is a structured discipline for identifying, modelling, analysing, improving and monitoring the processes an organisation runs on. It uses process thinking, BPMN 2.0 modelling, measurement and continuous improvement to make work flow more efficiently and deliver value to customers.

Who should attend BPM training in the Philippines?

The training suits business analysts, process owners, operations and service delivery managers, IT professionals, quality practitioners and change or transformation leads. Anyone responsible for designing, managing or improving a business process in any industry will benefit, regardless of prior training.

Is BPM training worth it for my career?

Yes. As global capability centres expand and automation reshapes routine work, Philippine employers increasingly want people who can map, measure and redesign processes. BPM skills support roles such as business analyst, process improvement manager and operations manager, which sit among the better-paid roles in the sector.

Do I need prior experience to learn BPM?

No. There are no formal prerequisites. The programme introduces BPM from first principles, so some familiarity with business operations is helpful but not required. It is open to professionals from any function or sector.

What standards and frameworks does the training follow?

The training is grounded in globally recognised standards. It uses BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation, ISO/IEC 19510) for process modelling and draws on the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge, the ISO 9001:2015 process approach and Lean Six Sigma improvement tools.

    Pricing

How much does BPM training cost in the Philippines?

Fees vary by delivery format, whether you enrol as an individual or a group, and any customisation. For current pricing in your preferred format, request a quote and a learning advisor will share the details that apply to you.

What is included in the BPM course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all six BPM modules, structured courseware, hands-on modelling and analysis exercises, templates and reference materials, learner support, and a course completion record from Invensis Learning.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for operations teams, shared services, quality functions and cross-functional groups. Contact us for a tailored quote for your team.

Are there payment or instalment options?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you best.

Is this training good value for money?

Yes. BPM gives you a reusable method you can apply to any process immediately, from mapping and analysis to redesign and governance. The skills transfer straight into your day job and support progression into process and operations roles. Ask about group pricing to stretch the value further.

    Course Content

What topics does the BPM training cover?

The programme covers six modules: introduction to BPM, the BPM lifecycle, process modelling with BPMN 2.0, process analysis and performance measurement, process design and governance, and BPM technology, automation and continuous improvement.

Will I learn BPMN 2.0 process modelling?

Yes. You learn the core BPMN 2.0 elements, events, activities, gateways, sequence flows, pools and lanes, and practise turning plain process descriptions into clear swimlane diagrams, including as-is and to-be models.

How long is the BPM training?

The programme runs for one day, or eight hours in total, and can also be delivered as two half-days. It covers all six modules with concept explanations, BPMN modelling exercises and process analysis and redesign workshops throughout.

Are there hands-on exercises in the training?

Yes. Learning is practical throughout. You model processes from verbal descriptions, analyse them to find waste and bottlenecks, and apply redesign principles in workshop activities, so you leave able to do the work, not just describe it.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive structured courseware, BPMN modelling references, process analysis and redesign templates, worked examples and exercises, along with a course completion record from Invensis Learning once you finish the programme.

    Assessment And Completion

Do I receive a certificate for completing the BPM training?

Yes. You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. BPM training is a practical, non-certification skills course, so there is no formal awarding body; the value is the capability you can apply at work immediately.

    How is the learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. Learning is reinforced through hands-on BPMN modelling exercises, process analysis and redesign workshops, and group discussion during the programme, so you build and apply the skills as you go.

Will my BPM skills need renewing?

No. The skills do not expire and require no renewal. Once you learn the BPM lifecycle, BPMN modelling and the analysis and redesign techniques, you can apply them to process work straight away and keep building on them.

How does BPM compare with Lean and Six Sigma?

BPM provides the end-to-end framework to identify, model, govern and continuously improve processes, while Lean and Six Sigma offer specific improvement tools used within that framework. They are complementary, and many practitioners use them together.

What will I be able to do after the training?

You will be able to model processes in BPMN 2.0, analyse them for waste and bottlenecks, apply redesign principles, define process KPIs, and support process ownership, governance and automation in your organisation.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in BPM training in the Philippines?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. A learning advisor can help you pick the right option.

    How soon can I start?

New batches run regularly across live virtual and classroom formats. View the upcoming schedules to find a date that works for you, or talk to a learning advisor about the next available session.

Can I reschedule or transfer to another batch?

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
