    How is my learning assessed on the course?

    There is no formal test. Learning is reinforced through hands-on exercises and case investigations that run throughout the day, where you apply each RCA tool to realistic problem scenarios and receive trainer feedback.

    What will I be able to do after the training?

    You will be able to define a problem precisely, run a 5 Whys and Fishbone investigation, apply Fault Tree Analysis and FMEA, complete an 8D report, and develop and verify corrective actions that meet the ISO 9001:2015 Clause 10.2 requirement.

    Do I receive a certificate?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning on finishing the one-day programme. It records the practical RCA training you completed; it is not a credential from an external body, as none exists for this skill.

    How is RCA training different from a Six Sigma course?

    RCA training is a focused, standalone deep-dive into problem-solving tools. Six Sigma covers RCA within the wider DMAIC Analyse phase, while this course gives greater depth on the 5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA, FMEA and 8D. The two are complementary.

    Which RCA tools are taught?

    You learn the 5 Whys, the Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagram with the 6M categories, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA in an RCA context, Pareto analysis, Is/Is Not analysis and the eight disciplines of 8D, plus how to choose the right tool for each problem.

    Yes. Hands-on exercises and real case investigations run throughout the day. You practise writing problem statements, running 5 Whys and Fishbone sessions, and completing an 8D report for a realistic problem scenario.
