    Is there a test or exam at the end of the course?

    What will I be able to do after the Fundamentals level?

    You will be able to create a project file, build a task list with summary tasks and milestones, link tasks with dependencies, identify the critical path, assign resources, set a baseline, track progress and generate built-in status reports.

    What will I be able to do after the Advanced level?

    You will be able to apply advanced task types, run resource levelling, track costs and calculate Earned Value metrics, build custom views and reports, and manage master projects with cross-project links for programme-level reporting.

    Do I receive a certificate after the training?

    Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning once you complete the programme. It recognises the practical Microsoft Project skills you have built, and the skills apply immediately at work.

    Course Content

    What topics are covered in the training?

    Fundamentals covers project setup, the work breakdown structure, task dependencies, the critical path, resources, baselines, tracking and reporting. Advanced adds resource levelling, cost and Earned Value management, custom views and reports, and master projects.

    How long is each level of the training?

    The Fundamentals level runs for 2 days (16 hours) and the Advanced level for 3 days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day sessions or extended half-day formats, and you can attend either level independently or in sequence.

    Does the course cover cost management and Earned Value?

    Yes, at the Advanced level. You learn to set a cost baseline, track actual costs, and calculate Earned Value metrics such as BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, SPI and CPI to report project performance to stakeholders.

    Will I learn to manage multiple projects together?

    Yes. The Advanced level covers inserting subprojects into a master project, creating cross-project dependencies and consolidating resources, so PMO and programme professionals can report across many schedules at once.

    Are hands-on exercises included?

    Yes. Both levels are delivered with live Microsoft Project exercises using realistic project scenarios. You follow along in the software as the trainer demonstrates each feature, building proficiency through practice.
