Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Macedonia who want globally recognised proof of their skills.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The Project Management Professional (PMP) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead projects using predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. It suits experienced project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Macedonia who want globally recognised proof of their skills.

Is the PMP worth it for professionals in Macedonia?

Yes. PMP-certified project managers report a 16 to 17 percent salary premium over non-certified peers, and employers in Macedonia's IT, banking, telecom and infrastructure sectors increasingly prefer certified leaders. It is recognised in more than 200 countries, so it also supports work abroad and with international clients.

Which standard is the PMP based on?

The current PMP is aligned to the PMI Examination Content Outline built on the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition. Around half the exam reflects agile or hybrid ways of working, with the rest covering predictive delivery, business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

    Is the PMP recognised internationally?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is widely regarded as the global standard for project management. It is referenced in employer job specifications, client contracts and procurement requirements worldwide, which makes it valuable for cross-border and nearshore work.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) across PMI's Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMP training fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, the 35 contact hours the exam requires, practice questions, mock exams, application guidance and learner support. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI and is not part of the training price. Request a quote for current pricing.

How much does the PMP exam cost?

PMI bills the PMP exam fee directly, with member and non-member rates that vary by region, so confirm the current amount on pmi.org. PMI membership reduces the exam fee and gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. Talk to a learning advisor for a full cost breakdown.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, PMOs and departments in Macedonia. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. The PMI exam fee is paid separately to PMI under its regional pricing. The training fee covers your preparation, courseware and the 35 contact hours needed to apply. Request a quote to see exactly what your enrolment includes.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP is a closed-book exam of 180 questions taken in 230 minutes, including two 10-minute breaks. It uses multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions, delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or at a test centre.

What domains does the PMP exam cover?

The updated exam built on the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition covers five areas: Project Management Fundamentals, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks, Business Analysis and Strategic Management, and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMP?

There are two paths. With a four-year degree you need 36 months of leading projects plus 35 contact hours of project management education. With a secondary diploma you need 60 months of leading projects plus the same 35 contact hours, which this training provides.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. Results are determined through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement. Aim for broad mastery across all five areas.

What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

You have up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our mock exams, practice questions and trainer support are designed to help you pass the first time.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PMP training?

The training covers all five exam areas: project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile and hybrid frameworks, business analysis and strategy, and stakeholder engagement, plus exam strategy and application guidance, all aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

Can a beginner or first-time applicant take this course?

The training is designed for professionals with project experience, since the PMP requires months of leading projects to apply. If you meet the experience path, the course builds your knowledge from fundamentals to exam readiness, so prior formal training is not required.

    What learning resources are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions mapped to the 180-question format, full-length mock exams, topic quizzes and templates, plus guidance on documenting your experience and the 35 contact hours for the PMI application.

Does the course cover agile as well as predictive delivery?

Yes. About half the exam reflects agile or hybrid approaches, so the training covers Scrum, Kanban and lean practices alongside predictive tools such as the critical path method and earned value management, matching how projects run in Macedonia's IT sector.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest exam?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current PMP Examination Content Outline built on the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, so you prepare against the standard the exam actually tests.

How do I enrol in the PMP course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you would like help choosing a batch.

We offer live online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training and customised corporate group training, so professionals in Skopje and across Macedonia can choose the format that fits their schedule.
