    The exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours. It is delivered online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of programme management practitioners evaluates your documented experience. It must be passed in addition to the written exam to earn the credential.

    What are the eligibility requirements for the PgMP?

    You must meet one of three sets. With a secondary diploma: four years of project management experience or an active PMP, plus seven years of programme management experience. With a four-year degree: four years of each. All experience must fall within the past 15 years.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, with domain feedback reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

    How many attempts do I get, and can I retake it?

    PMI permits up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts; confirm the current amounts at pmi.org.
