    Course Content

    What topics does the DFSS training cover?

    The course covers all six DMADV phases: DFSS foundations, the Define phase (VOC and Kano), Measure (CTQ flow-down and QFD), Analyse (concept selection and Design FMEA), Design (robust design and DFMA), and Verify (design verification, validation and transfer).

    What tools will I learn to use?

    You will practise voice of the customer and Kano analysis, CTQ flow-down, Quality Function Deployment (the House of Quality), the Pugh concept selection matrix, Design FMEA with RPN, the P-diagram and robust design, and the design scorecard.

    How long is the training?

    The programme runs for one day (eight hours), covering all six DMADV phases with concept explanations, real design case examples and hands-on tool exercises throughout.

    Are there hands-on exercises?

    Yes. Practical exercises run throughout the day, applying VOC to CTQ flow-down, QFD, Pugh selection and Design FMEA to realistic product and process design scenarios, so you leave able to use the tools at work.
