Why Modern Service Management Is in Demand in Japan

    The 2025 Digital Cliff

Japanese enterprises are renewing ageing core systems to avoid the widely cited Digital Cliff. VeriSM gives teams a flexible model to govern this modernisation without locking into one rigid framework.

VeriSM builds a flexible, context-driven service model

    Framework Fragmentation

Many organisations run ITIL, Agile and DevOps in separate silos. VeriSM's management mesh shows how to combine these practices into one coherent, consumer-focused service management approach.

VeriSM integrates ITIL, Agile, DevOps and Lean

    IT Talent and Skills Shortage

Japan faces a persistent shortage of skilled IT professionals and an ageing workforce. A credential open to both IT and business staff helps organisations build service capability faster and wider.

    VeriSM broadens service management capability

    Cloud-First Public Procurement

Cloud-first rules for public agencies and Society 5.0 goals are reshaping how services are sourced and run. VeriSM's focus on innovative technologies fits this shift to cloud and automation.

VeriSM supports modern, cloud-era service delivery

    Rising Consumer Expectations

As DX raises expectations for fast, seamless digital services, product-centric thinking falls short. VeriSM teaches outcome-based, consumer-centric service design that meets these demands.

VeriSM puts the consumer at the centre

    Multi-Supplier Governance

Enterprises coordinate services across many internal and external providers. VeriSM's governance and management mesh help organisations keep control while staying flexible and responsive.

VeriSM strengthens governance across the mesh

    Integrating Progressive Practices

Learn how to select and combine practices such as ITIL, Agile, DevOps, Lean and SIAM within the management mesh. You will be able to match practices to organisational context rather than applying one framework everywhere.
