Does the course prepare me for automation projects?

Yes. The training covers how BPMS and RPA fit into process management and how to identify automation-ready tasks. Because you cannot automate a broken process, BPM gives you the modelling and analysis skills that make automation projects succeed.

Course Content

What topics are covered in the BPM training?

The one-day programme covers six modules: introduction to BPM, the BPM lifecycle, business process modelling with BPMN 2.0, process analysis and performance measurement, process design and governance, and BPM technology, automation and continuous improvement.

What will I learn about process modelling?

You will learn to build clear process models using BPMN 2.0 notation, including events, gateways, tasks, pools and swimlanes. The course covers as-is and to-be modelling and how to move from a plain description to a validated diagram.

Are there hands-on exercises in the training?

Yes. The programme includes practical exercises throughout: modelling processes from verbal descriptions, analysing them to identify waste, and redesigning them by applying design principles such as simplification and standardisation.

How long is the BPM training?

The course runs for one day (8 hours), covering all six modules with concept explanations, BPMN 2.0 modelling exercises, and process analysis and redesign workshops. An extended half-day format across two days is also available.

Is the courseware up to date?

Yes. The courseware reflects current BPM practice and the established standards the discipline uses, including BPMN 2.0 for modelling and the ISO 9001:2015 process approach.
