Is there an exam for Minitab Essentials Training?

No. This is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through live, hands-on Minitab exercises throughout the programme, so you build proficiency by practising each technique rather than sitting a test.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning once you finish the programme. It confirms you have completed the training; it is not an external certification, as this is a practical skills course.

How is learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you work through hands-on exercises on realistic quality datasets alongside the trainer, applying each analysis as it is taught so you leave able to use it at work.

How long is the Minitab training?

The programme runs for one day (about 8 hours), covering all core modules from Minitab navigation and data management through descriptive statistics, graphs, hypothesis testing, SPC, capability analysis, regression and Gauge R&R. It can also be delivered across two half-days.

Will I be able to use Minitab confidently afterwards?

Yes. By the end you can import and manage data, build quality graphs, run t-tests, ANOVA and chi-square tests, create control charts, run capability analysis, perform regression and complete a Gauge R&R study in Minitab.

What will I learn in the Minitab course?

You will learn to navigate Minitab and manage data, summarise and graph data, run hypothesis tests, build and read control charts, measure process capability with Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk, model relationships with regression, and assess measurement systems with Gauge R&R.

Does the course cover control charts and process capability?

Yes. You build I-MR, Xbar-R, P and C control charts and apply the standard control-chart rules, then run capability analysis for normal and non-normal data and interpret Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk against specification limits.

Is the training hands-on?

Yes. Every module is delivered with live Minitab exercises on realistic quality datasets. You follow along in the software as the trainer demonstrates each analysis, so proficiency comes from practice, not passive observation.

Does it support Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt work?
