    General

What is the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification?

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an intermediate process improvement credential that validates your ability to lead and support data-driven projects using the DMAIC framework. It is governed by IASSC and recognised by employers worldwide, including across Georgia.

Is the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt worth it in Georgia?

Yes. As manufacturing, banking, logistics and outsourcing grow in Georgia, employers increasingly seek professionals who can cut defects, cost and cycle time. A Green Belt is a recognised, transferable credential that strengthens your standing for quality and operations roles.

    Who should take this certification?

The Green Belt suits quality engineers and analysts, operations and production staff, project team members and process specialists. It is ideal for anyone in manufacturing, finance, logistics or shared services who wants practitioner-level improvement skills.

Do I need prior experience or prerequisites?

No formal prerequisites are required. Real-world experience and training are recommended but not mandatory, so the certification is open to professionals at many stages who are ready to build DMAIC and Lean skills.

How long is the Green Belt certification valid?

The certification is valid for three years. To keep your status current, you pass a shorter recertification exam before the validity period ends, helping you stay aligned with current practice.

    Pricing

How much does Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training cost in Georgia?

Training fees in Georgia are available on request and vary by format, such as live online, classroom or corporate group training. The IASSC exam voucher is billed separately in USD under regional pricing. Request a quote for current pricing.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes 32 hours of instruction, DMAIC-structured courseware, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable templates and learner support, plus a course completion certificate. Exact inclusions depend on the format you choose.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

No. The exam voucher is purchased separately from the certifying body and billed in USD under regional pricing, so it is not part of the training fee. Our team can guide you on how to book it.

    Exam

What is the format of the Green Belt exam?

The exam has 100 questions in closed-book, multiple-choice and true or false format, with a three-hour time allowance. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the five DMAIC phases of Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control.

What is the passing score for the exam?

You need a minimum of 385 points out of 550 to pass. Because questions are distributed across all five DMAIC phases, broad mastery of the body of knowledge is the best approach.

    How is the exam delivered?

The exam can be taken through an online proctored, web-based system available on demand, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. You can choose the option that is most convenient for you in Georgia.

Are there prerequisites to sit the exam?

No prerequisites are required to sit the exam. Training and project experience are recommended to prepare you, but they are not mandatory conditions for taking the assessment.

What happens if I do not pass the first time?

You can retake the exam by purchasing another voucher. Our training includes mock exams and practice questions to help you identify weak areas and improve your readiness before you resit.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the training?

The training covers the full DMAIC cycle: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. You learn process mapping, Six Sigma statistics, measurement system analysis, hypothesis testing, regression, designed experiments, SPC and Lean tools such as 5S and Kanban.

What learning resources and materials are provided?

You receive DMAIC-structured courseware, practice questions, mock exams, downloadable templates and chapter-wise quizzes. These resources support both your exam preparation and your application of the tools at work.

Are there practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 100-question format, helping you build confidence and find gaps before the real exam.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest body of knowledge?

Yes. The courseware is mapped to the current IASSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge, structured around the five DMAIC phases, so what you learn matches what the exam evaluates.

How many hours is the training?

The training comprises 32 hours of instruction. It can be delivered in flexible formats, such as full-day intensive sessions or extended part-day schedules, to suit working professionals.
