    Does the CSPO have an exam?

    No. The CSPO has no examination. The credential is awarded on successful completion of an approved course delivered by a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer, so your focus is on learning and applying the Product Owner role.

    How long is the CSPO credential valid?

    The CSPO is valid for two years. To renew it, you earn 16 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) and pay the Scrum Alliance membership renewal fee every two years. SEUs can be earned through training, events, coaching and self-study.

    How do I become a Certified Scrum Product Owner?

    Attend an approved CSPO course delivered by a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer. On completion, you accept the Scrum Alliance license agreement and code of ethics, and the credential is activated through your Scrum Alliance member account. There is no exam.

    Who awards the CSPO credential?

    The CSPO is awarded by Scrum Alliance, the credential body for the certification. Invensis Learning delivers the Scrum Alliance-aligned course, and you receive the credential directly through your Scrum Alliance account on completion.

    Is the CSPO course delivered by a certified trainer?

    Yes. The CSPO course must be delivered by a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). This ensures the curriculum is consistent and aligned to the Scrum Alliance CSPO learning objectives and the current Scrum Guide.

    How do I renew my CSPO certification?

    Renew the CSPO every two years by earning 16 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) and paying the Scrum Alliance membership renewal fee. SEUs can be earned through training, conferences, coaching and other approved learning activities.

    What can I progress to after the CSPO?
