Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

AgilePM (Agile Project Management) is a structured agile framework based on DSDM, owned and published by the Agile Business Consortium, formerly the DSDM Consortium. The combined programme covers both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, from understanding the framework to applying and tailoring it in real project scenarios.

    General

What is the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner certification?

AgilePM (Agile Project Management) is a structured agile framework based on DSDM, owned and published by the Agile Business Consortium, formerly the DSDM Consortium. The combined programme covers both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, from understanding the framework to applying and tailoring it in real project scenarios.

Who should take AgilePM training in Fiji?

AgilePM training suits project managers, business analysts, team leaders and delivery professionals in Fiji, as well as PRINCE2 or Scrum holders adding a governed agile credential. Foundation has no prerequisites, so it is open to professionals at any career stage.

    Is AgilePM recognised in Fiji?

Yes. AgilePM is a globally recognised framework used in over 150 countries and valued by employers running iterative, governed projects. In Fiji it is relevant across banking, telecommunications, government and BPO sectors modernising services under the National Digital Strategy.

What are the eight AgilePM principles?

The eight principles are: focus on the business need, deliver on time, collaborate, never compromise quality, build incrementally from firm foundations, develop iteratively, communicate continuously and clearly, and demonstrate control. They underpin every AgilePM project and are core to both exams.

How long are the AgilePM certifications valid?

The AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner certificates recognise your knowledge of the framework at the time of assessment. Confirm current validity and any renewal or continuing development requirements with your training provider before you enrol.

    Pricing

How much does AgilePM training cost in Fiji?

AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner training is usually purchased as a combined training and dual-exam package, quoted in FJD. Pricing varies by format and schedule, so it is available on request. Speak with a learning advisor for a tailored quote.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes AgilePM-aligned courseware, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions, and dedicated learner support. Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers are usually part of the package. Confirm the exact inclusions when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Both exam vouchers are commonly included in the combined AgilePM training package, though this can vary by plan. Ask your learning advisor to confirm whether the Foundation and Practitioner exam fees are bundled with your selected option.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and leadership groups in Fiji. Contact us for a group quote tailored to your team size and goals.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the payment option that suits you best.

    Exam

How many exams are in the AgilePM combo programme?

There are two separate exams. You sit the AgilePM Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam, and must pass both to hold both credentials. The combined training prepares you for each in sequence.

What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a 40-minute duration. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the AgilePM framework.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each, 60 marks in total, over 2 hours. It is open book with the AgilePM Handbook permitted, and the pass mark is 50%, meaning 30 out of 60 marks.

What are the prerequisites for each AgilePM exam?

The Foundation exam has no prerequisites and is open to all. The Practitioner exam requires the AgilePM Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent, so most learners take the two levels in sequence within one combined programme.

How and where do I sit the AgilePM exams?

Both exams can be taken online through remote proctoring or at an authorised test centre, typically at the end of each training stage. Your training provider guides you on booking within your eligibility period.

What happens if I do not pass an exam first time?

You can resit an AgilePM exam if you do not pass on the first attempt. Selected training plans include revision support and retake options; confirm the current resit policy and any fees with your learning advisor.

    Course Content

What topics does the AgilePM course cover?

The course covers the AgilePM philosophy and eight principles, the six-phase lifecycle and management products, the business, technical and management roles, MoSCoW prioritisation, timeboxing and quality, and planning, control and risk, at both awareness and application level.

Which standard is the training based on?

The training is aligned to the current AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook, published by the Agile Business Consortium. This keeps the content consistent with what the two exams assess.

Do I need agile experience to start?

No prior agile experience is required. The Foundation level is beginner-friendly and builds knowledge from the ground up, while the Practitioner level then develops your ability to apply and tailor AgilePM to real project scenarios.

Are mock exams and practice questions included?

Yes. The programme includes AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner practice questions, full mock exams and open-book exam technique practice, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness for both papers.

What learning materials will I receive?

You receive AgilePM-aligned courseware covering the Foundation and Practitioner syllabus areas, industry-driven case studies, mock exams and practice questions, and guidance for clearing both certification exams on the first attempt.
