    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN ASM exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions. It covers five topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking, the Scrum Master Role, Agile Estimating and Planning, Complex Projects, and Adopting Agile.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and what is the duration?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and you have 90 minutes to complete it. The questions are distributed across the five EXIN topic areas.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions answered correctly. The training focuses on broad competency across all five topic areas so you are ready for scenario-based questions.

    How is the ASM exam delivered?

    The EXIN ASM exam is available through online proctoring using the EXIN online exam system, or at EXIN accredited testing locations. You can take it via an accredited training provider after your preparation.

    What if I do not pass the ASM exam on the first attempt?

    You can re-sit the EXIN ASM exam. Our training includes practice questions and mock assessments to build your readiness, and we can guide you on the current EXIN re-sit process and fees, which are available on request.
