Why Finnish Employers Need Process Skills Now

    Automation Before Optimisation

Finnish organisations are automating fast, but automating a broken process just makes mistakes faster. BPM ensures processes are modelled and improved before RPA and workflow tools are applied.

BPM builds process analysis and redesign skills

    Public Sector Digitalisation

Tax, defence and healthcare bodies are scaling automation, with hyperautomation valued at up to 3bn euro a year in wellbeing services counties. Delivering that needs people who can map and govern processes.

BPM builds end-to-end process governance skills

    The Process Documentation Gap

Many teams document work inconsistently or not at all, so improvements do not stick. A shared BPMN 2.0 standard gives organisations clear, reusable process models everyone can read.

BPM builds BPMN 2.0 modelling skills

    Strategy to Execution Disconnect

Boards approve transformation programmes, but weak links between strategy and daily operations cause value leakage. BPM ties processes to strategic goals and measurable performance.

BPM connects processes to strategic goals

    Rising Operating Cost Pressure

Manufacturing, finance and services face margin pressure that rewards leaner processes. Structured analysis exposes the waste, handoffs and rework that quietly inflate cost.

BPM builds waste and cost analysis skills

    Cross-Functional Coordination

Work flows across departments, but functional silos hide where it stalls. Swimlane process models make roles, handoffs and bottlenecks visible to every team involved.

BPM makes responsibilities visible across teams

What You Will Learn in This BPM CourseHands-On Process Skills, Start to Finish

This BPM programme turns process concepts into hands-on capability. Through modelling exercises, analysis workshops and redesign activities, you leave able to document, improve and manage business processes end to end.

    Model Processes with BPMN 2.0

The skills covered in BPM training start with modelling: you learn to turn a verbal process description into a clear BPMN 2.0 swimlane diagram using events, tasks, gateways, pools and lanes, so responsibilities and flow are visible to everyone.

    Run the Full BPM Lifecycle

Work end to end through the six-phase BPM lifecycle, from identifying and prioritising processes to modelling, analysing, designing, implementing and monitoring them as a continuous cycle rather than a one-off project.

    Analyse Processes and Find Waste

Use qualitative and quantitative analysis, value-added analysis and Lean waste categories to pinpoint bottlenecks, rework and delay, then apply 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams to reach root causes.

    Measure Performance with KPIs

Define meaningful process metrics such as lead time, cycle time, process efficiency and first-pass yield, and set up dashboards and reviews that show whether a process is actually improving.

    Redesign Processes for Results

Apply redesign principles, simplification, standardisation, automation, error-proofing and parallelisation, to build a leaner future-state process, and evaluate options for impact, feasibility and risk.

    Govern and Automate Processes

Establish process ownership and governance, embed continuous improvement, and identify where BPMS workflow tools and RPA can automate the right tasks to support digital transformation.

    Pricing

How much does BPM training cost in Finland?

Pricing depends on the delivery format, whether you enrol as an individual or a group, and your team size. Fees are available on request. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share current options for public and corporate sessions.

What is included in the BPM course fee?

Your fee includes instructor-led training across all six BPM modules, hands-on BPMN 2.0 modelling and process analysis exercises, learning materials, and a course completion record from Invensis Learning. Ask about the exact inclusions for your chosen format.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you or your organisation.

Is there a discount for booking a full team?

    Assessment And Certification

Is there an exam for BPM training?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no exam. Learning is reinforced through hands-on BPMN 2.0 modelling exercises, process analysis workshops and group discussion during the one-day programme.

What do I receive on completing the course?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. It recognises that you have completed the training and built practical BPM and process modelling skills you can apply straight away at work.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply BPM techniques throughout the day in modelling exercises, process analysis workshops and redesign activities, so you practise the skills rather than sit a test.

Does BPM training expire or need renewal?

No. There is no certification to maintain and no renewal cycle. The BPM and BPMN 2.0 skills you learn are immediately applicable and do not expire, so you can keep using them across roles and organisations.

Will I be able to model processes after the course?

Yes. By the end of the day you can turn a verbal process description into a clear BPMN 2.0 swimlane model, analyse it for waste and bottlenecks, and redesign it for better performance.

    Course Content

What topics does the BPM course cover?

The course covers six modules: an introduction to BPM, the BPM lifecycle, process modelling with BPMN 2.0, process analysis and performance measurement, process design and governance, and BPM technology, automation and continuous improvement.

Will I learn BPMN 2.0 process modelling?

Yes. A core part of the course is modelling processes in BPMN 2.0, using events, activities, gateways, sequence flows, pools and lanes. You practise moving from a prose description to a validated swimlane diagram.

Can a complete beginner follow the course?

Yes. The training starts from first principles and builds up step by step, with hands-on exercises at each stage. No prior BPM knowledge or process modelling experience is needed to keep up and get value.

How long is the BPM training?

The programme runs for one day, a total of eight hours, and can also be delivered as two half-days. It covers all six modules with concept explanations, modelling exercises, analysis workshops and case examples.

Does the course cover automation and RPA?

Yes. The final module covers BPM technology, including BPMS workflow automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and how to identify which tasks to automate, a timely topic given Finland's fast-growing automation adoption.
