What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the PRINCE2 manual. It has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks over 150 minutes, with a 60 percent pass mark, which is 42 out of 70. It tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to scenarios.

Do I need Foundation before taking Practitioner?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is the prerequisite for Practitioner. PeopleCert also accepts certain equivalents such as PMP, CAPM and IPMA Level A to D. Foundation itself has no prerequisites and is open to everyone.
