Do I need work experience to take CAPM?

No. CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no project management work experience. You need a secondary school qualification (or global equivalent) and 23 hours of project management education, which this course provides in full.

How is CAPM different from PMP?

How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. It is a closed-book exam with single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of every domain rather than a single target mark.

Where and how do I take the CAPM exam?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility period.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?
