Why Estonia's Digital Economy Needs Project-Ready Talent

    Rapid Digitalisation Outpacing Project Skills

Estonia's Digital Society Development Plan 2035 and over 130 public AI projects are creating more initiatives than there are project-literate staff to run them, and CAPM fundamentals help close that gap.

CAPM builds core project management fundamentals

    A Startup Scene Formalising Delivery

Tallinn ranks among the world's densest tech ecosystems, and fast-scaling fintech and SaaS firms increasingly need structured project coordination as they grow beyond founder-led delivery.

CAPM builds structured project coordination skills

    Shortage of Certified Entry-Level Talent

Estonia has strong senior engineering talent but far fewer professionals with recognised project credentials, so CAPM holders stand out for coordinator and junior project manager roles.

CAPM makes new project professionals stand out

Agile and Hybrid Ways of Working

Estonian tech teams run agile and hybrid delivery every day, and the CAPM syllabus covers Scrum, Kanban, predictive and hybrid approaches so newcomers can contribute across methods.

How much does CAPM training cost in Estonia?

Training fees vary by format, such as live virtual, classroom or corporate group delivery, and are available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD under regional pricing. Talk to a learning advisor for a tailored quote.

    Exam

What does the CAPM exam cover?

The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 exam content outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%). It is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. It is a closed-book exam with single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of every domain rather than a single target mark.

Where and how do I take the CAPM exam?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your one-year eligibility period.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period, and a re-examination fee applies to the second and third attempts. Our practice questions and mock exams are designed to prepare you for a confident first attempt.

    Course Content

Can a beginner with no experience take this course?

Yes. CAPM is built for beginners, and the course assumes no prior project experience. It teaches the fundamentals from the ground up, and the 23 hours of education also satisfy the CAPM exam prerequisite.

What topics does the CAPM training cover?

The training covers the four CAPM domains: project management fundamentals and core concepts, predictive plan-based methodologies, agile frameworks and methodologies, and business analysis frameworks, plus stakeholder engagement, communication and exam strategy.

Which standard and edition is the course based on?

The course is based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the Agile Practice Guide, so your preparation reflects the current exam.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the CAPM exam content outline, plus topic-wise quizzes to help you find weak areas and build exam readiness.

Will I receive a certificate for the training?

Yes. After completing the course you receive a course completion certificate confirming the 23 hours of project management education, which meets the CAPM exam prerequisite. The CAPM credential itself is awarded by PMI after you pass the exam.
