    The House of Quality is the central QFD planning matrix. It links customer requirements to measurable engineering characteristics, scores their relationships, maps conflicts in the correlation roof, benchmarks competitors, and sets engineering targets, all anchored to customer priorities.

    Does the course cover the four phases of QFD?

    Yes. You learn the full four-phase QFD system: product planning (the House of Quality), parts deployment, process planning and production planning, so customer requirements stay traceable from concept all the way to production controls.

    Is QFD useful for services and software, not just manufacturing?

    Yes. While QFD began in manufacturing, the course covers applications in services such as healthcare and financial services, and in software development. The House of Quality applies wherever customer needs must be translated into design or delivery specifications.
