    What is the format of the Yellow Belt exam?

    The IASSC Yellow Belt exam is a closed-book paper of 60 multiple-choice and true/false questions, with a two-hour allotted time. Questions are spread across the five DMAIC phases at a foundational, awareness level.

    What score do I need to pass the exam?

    You need a minimum of 230 out of 300 points to pass the IASSC Yellow Belt exam. Broad familiarity with all five DMAIC phases is the best way to prepare, since questions are spread fairly evenly across them.
