    What is the House of Quality?

    The House of Quality is the central QFD planning matrix. It links customer requirements to measurable engineering characteristics, assesses their relationships, benchmarks against competitors, flags design conflicts in the correlation roof, and sets engineering targets.

    Does the course cover Voice of the Customer techniques?

    Yes. You learn to gather VOC through interviews, observation and surveys, organise it with the affinity diagram into a requirement hierarchy, classify needs with the Kano model, and apply importance weighting before building the House of Quality.

    Are the four phases of QFD covered?

    Yes. The course covers the full four-phase cascade: product planning, parts deployment, process planning and production planning, so you can trace a customer requirement all the way through to a production control.

    Is QFD useful for services and software, not just manufacturing?
