Do I need prior Lean experience to attend?

No. There are no prerequisites. The course introduces Lean Manufacturing from first principles, so it works for professionals new to Lean as well as those wanting to formalise on-the-job knowledge. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Is there an exam for Lean Manufacturing training?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Lean tool exercises, waste-identification activities and case discussion during the one-day programme.

How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply Lean tools to realistic scenarios through waste walks, value stream mapping, 5S assessment, OEE calculation and kanban design, so you practise the skills during the session.

Do I earn a certification or a certificate?

You earn a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning, not an external certification. Lean Manufacturing has no single governing body or credential; the value is in the practical toolkit you can apply at work.

Does the completion certificate expire?

No. The course completion certificate does not expire, and the Lean skills you learn do not need renewal. You can apply them to waste-elimination and improvement projects immediately and indefinitely.

Will the training prepare me for further Lean study?

Yes. This course is a strong foundation for further learning such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Poka Yoke and Lean Six Sigma training, all available through Invensis Learning.

Yes. The content is built from first principles, so beginners can follow it while experienced staff deepen their toolkit. Terms such as takt time, kanban and OEE are explained clearly before you apply them.
