    What if I do not pass the PgMP exam first time?

    How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

    The PgMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour (240-minute) allotted time. It is closed book with multiple-choice question formats, delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or a test centre.

    What are the PgMP exam domains and weights?

    Five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%), per the PgMP Examination Content Outline.

    What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback: Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

    What is the PgMP panel review?

    The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP, in which programme management practitioners evaluate your documented experience. Both the panel review and the written exam must be passed to earn the credential.

    What are the PgMP eligibility requirements?

    Three sets apply. With a secondary diploma: 48 months of project management experience or an active PMP, plus 84 months of programme experience. With a bachelor's degree: 48 months plus 48 months of programme experience. All within the past 15 years.
