Why Earning CAPM Pays off Early in Your CareerRecognition, Roles and Real Momentum

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

Certified CAPM training gives early-career professionals something a CV alone cannot: independent proof from PMI that you understand how projects actually work. Because the credential needs no work experience, it suits students, recent graduates, career changers and team members who support projects without yet leading them. Whether you are targeting a coordinator role at an ICT firm in Nuremberg, a PMO seat in automotive supply, or a first project post in medical technology, the credential puts a recognised marker against your name.

If you want to enter project management with credibility rather than promises, CAPM is the clearest first step. You gain fluency across predictive planning, agile delivery and business analysis, plus a structured path from study to a globally recognised PMI credential.

    • Prove project management knowledge to employers before you have years of delivery experience
    • Qualify for project coordinator, junior project manager and PMO support roles across Nuremberg
    • Earn a PMI credential recognised by employers in more than 200 countries
    • Speak the shared language of predictive, agile and hybrid delivery from day one
    • Stand out in a hiring market where entry-level shortlists are long and proof is scarce
    • Complete the 23 hours of project management education PMI requires, in one programme
    • Build a clear stepping stone towards PMP once you have the experience it needs
    • Gain the confidence to run schedules, budgets, risks and stakeholders with structure
    For Organizations

    For Organizations

Group CAPM training helps organisations raise the baseline capability of everyone who touches projects, not just the people who lead them. Coordinators, analysts and team members learn one consistent method for planning, tracking and reporting work. For Nuremberg employers facing a persistent shortage of qualified project talent, developing that capability in-house is often faster and more reliable than hiring for it.

If your project reports arrive in different formats and your teams disagree on what good planning looks like, this programme fixes the foundation. Teams leave with a common framework, cleaner requirements and a shared understanding of how value gets delivered.

    • Give project support staff a shared vocabulary for scope, schedule, cost and risk
    • Raise delivery quality without pulling senior managers away from live projects
    • Standardise how teams plan, report and escalate across departments
    • Build a certified talent pipeline instead of competing for scarce experienced hires
    • Equip teams to work in predictive, agile and hybrid modes as projects demand
    • Strengthen business analysis and requirements discipline before delivery starts
    • Offer a visible development path that helps retain early-career staff
    • Train whole cohorts on one schedule with consistent, PMI-aligned content

Why Project Skills Are in Short Supply in Nuremberg

A Widening IT and Project Talent Gap

German industry went without roughly 109,000 IT specialists last year, and most mid-sized IT firms expect 2026 to be tighter still. Employers increasingly hire on proven fundamentals rather than tenure.

    CAPM proves foundational project capability

    The Mittelstand Digitalisation Backlog

Around 58 percent of Bavarian companies still report digital catch-up needs. Those change projects need coordinators who can scope work, sequence it and report honestly on progress.

CAPM builds planning and delivery discipline

    Automotive Supply in Transition

More than 500 industrial suppliers and around 85,000 workers sit in the region's automotive value chain. Electrification and software-defined vehicles turn steady production into constant project work.

CAPM builds scope, schedule and risk skills

    Regulated Projects in Medical Valley

The region's medical technology cluster runs device and health IT projects under strict regulatory scrutiny. Weak requirements and thin documentation are expensive, so business analysis discipline matters early.

CAPM builds requirements and traceability skills

Predictive and Agile Living Side by Side

Manufacturing plans in stage gates while software teams work in sprints, and the same programme often needs both. Hybrid delivery fails when the people supporting it only know one mode.

CAPM covers predictive, agile and hybrid delivery

    Crowded Entry-Level Shortlists

Junior applicants all describe themselves as organised and structured. A PMI credential turns that claim into something a hiring manager can verify in seconds.

CAPM gives recruiters something to screen on

Nuremberg employers need people who can plan, track and report work properly, and they are short of them. CAPM is how you prove you are one of those people, before anyone hands you a project. Start now.

    Your Nuremberg Career Transformation

How CAPM Changes Your Standing with Employers

What Will You Learn in the CAPM Course?Skills That Map to the Four Exam Domains

You will learn the four CAPM exam domains end to end: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks and Methodologies, and Business Analysis Frameworks, exactly as set out in the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective January 2023. Teaching follows the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and PMI's Agile Practice Guide, so the vocabulary you leave with is the vocabulary employers use.

Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts

Learn what separates a project from operations, how life cycles and phases work, who does what on a project team, and what a charter authorises. This domain carries 36 percent of the CAPM exam, so it anchors everything else you study.

    Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies

Plan and control work the traditional way: build a work breakdown structure, sequence activities, find the critical path, estimate cost, manage quality and procurement, and track performance with earned value. This is the backbone of stage-gated projects in manufacturing and engineering.

    Agile Frameworks and Methodologies

Work confidently inside Scrum, Kanban, Lean and XP: run a backlog, write user stories, read burndown charts, respect work-in-progress limits, and understand when hybrid delivery beats a pure approach. Twenty percent of the exam sits here.

    Business Analysis Frameworks

Elicit and document requirements, run needs assessments, build traceability, model processes and evaluate solution options. At 27 percent of the exam this is a heavyweight domain, and it is the skill regulated employers in medical technology value most.

Exam Readiness for the 150-Question Paper

Practise against the closed-book format you will actually face: 150 multiple-choice questions in three hours, taken at a Pearson VUE test centre or online through OnVUE proctoring. You learn pacing, elimination technique and how to read scenario wording.

Your PMI Application, Step by Step

Understand exactly what PMI asks for: a secondary degree and 23 hours of project management education, with no work experience required. The 24-hour programme covers that education requirement, and you get guidance on documenting it if you are audited.

    What Our Learners Say

    Untitled

Career Change, Backed by a Credential

"I moved from a customer support role into project coordination and had nothing formal to show for it. The four domains were taught in the order they actually matter, and the practice questions were close to the real paper. I passed first time and had an offer six weeks later."

Filled the Gaps My Degree Left

"As a recent graduate I understood agile from university but nothing about predictive planning. The trainer walked us through work breakdown structures, critical path and earned value until they clicked. The business analysis domain turned out to be the most useful part of my job."

    Flexible Enough to Actually Finish

"The live virtual format meant I could train around shift work. Sessions were interactive rather than a slide reading, and the trainer answered questions properly instead of deferring them. The 24 hours covered the PMI education requirement without any admin headache on my side."

Our Reporting Finally Looks the Same

"We put eight project support staff through the programme onsite. Status reports now follow one structure, risks get logged before they become issues, and our senior managers spend far less time correcting basics. The case studies were tailored to our engineering context."

Building Talent Beat Competing for It

"Hiring experienced project managers in this region is slow and expensive, so we chose to build the capability instead. Certifying our coordinators gave the team a common language across our predictive and agile workstreams, and coordination overhead dropped noticeably."

    Two Delivery Cultures, One Vocabulary

"Coordination across our software and hardware teams was the problem, because each side only understood its own way of working. After the training, people could explain a sprint to a stage-gate planner and vice versa. That alone justified the group booking."

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Yes, because it is the only PMI credential you can earn with no project experience, and it maps directly to roles Nuremberg is hiring for. Project coordinator roles here average around EUR 61,308 a year and project manager roles around EUR 62,098 (jobvector, 2026). Talk to a learning advisor about which route fits your background.

    General

Is the CAPM worth it for someone starting out in Nuremberg?

Yes, because it is the only PMI credential you can earn with no project experience, and it maps directly to roles Nuremberg is hiring for. Project coordinator roles here average around EUR 61,308 a year and project manager roles around EUR 62,098 (jobvector, 2026). Talk to a learning advisor about which route fits your background.

    What is the CAPM certification?

CAPM is the Project Management Institute's entry-level credential. It proves you understand the fundamental knowledge, terminology and processes of effective project management, across predictive, agile and hybrid delivery. It is designed for people with limited or no project management experience.

    Who should take this course?

Students, recent graduates, career changers and project team members who support projects without leading them. If you work near projects as a coordinator, analyst or administrator and want a recognised way to formalise that knowledge, this is aimed at you.

How long is the credential valid and how do I renew it?

CAPM is valid for three years. Renewal means retaking and passing the CAPM exam within that cycle. Unlike PMP, CAPM is not renewed by earning PDUs, so there is no continuing certification requirements cycle to track.

How is CAPM different from PMP?

CAPM is the entry credential and needs only a secondary degree plus 23 hours of project management education, with no work experience. PMP is the advanced credential and requires years of leading projects plus 35 contact hours. CAPM is the natural first step while you build towards PMP eligibility.

Is CAPM recognised by employers in Germany?

Yes. PMI credentials are recognised across more than 200 countries, and German employers in ICT, automotive supply, medical technology, manufacturing and insurance treat PMI alignment as a credible signal of project knowledge.

    Pricing

What is included in the CAPM training fee?

The fee covers 24 hours of instructor-led training, courseware aligned to the CAPM ECO and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, industry case studies, CAPM practice questions and first-attempt exam guidance. Training in Nuremberg is quoted in euros. Request a quote for current pricing.

How much does the CAPM exam cost?

PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD, at different member and non-member rates. PMI membership lowers the exam fee and includes access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the Agile Practice Guide. Confirm the current figures at pmi.org before you apply.

Is the exam fee part of the training price?

The PMI exam is purchased through PMI, so it is billed separately from the training fee. Ask our team what is currently bundled with your chosen format before you book.

Do you offer group or corporate rates in Nuremberg?

Yes. Corporate group training is available with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, delivered onsite in Nuremberg or live virtual. Ask about corporate and group pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor and they will set up the option that suits you.

    Exam

What happens if I do not pass the exam first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility window, and a reexamination fee applies to the second and third attempts. Our practice questions and first-attempt guidance are designed to make a retake unnecessary, and post-training support continues if you need it.

What does the CAPM exam cover?

Four domains from the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective January 2023: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36 percent), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17 percent), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20 percent), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27 percent).

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours to complete it. It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

Is there a fixed passing score?

No. PMI sets the passing standard psychometrically rather than publishing a fixed percentage. You receive a pass or fail result with performance feedback for each of the four domains, so aim for solid coverage across all of them rather than a target number.

Where can I sit the CAPM exam?

At a Pearson VUE test centre, or from home or the office through Pearson VUE's OnVUE online proctoring. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or the PMI portal once your application is approved.

Which standard is the exam based on?

The CAPM Examination Content Outline effective January 2023, aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and PMI's Agile Practice Guide. Roughly half the paper covers predictive project management and half covers agile and hybrid approaches.

    Course Content

Can a complete beginner take this course?

Yes. CAPM assumes no project management experience, and the course starts from first principles: what a project is, how life cycles work, and who does what. All you need is a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma or global equivalent.

What topics does the CAPM syllabus cover?

All four exam domains: core project concepts and life cycles, predictive planning including work breakdown structures, critical path and earned value, agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean and XP, and business analysis including requirements, traceability and solution evaluation.

How many training hours does the programme run for?

24 hours in total. That can be three full days of eight hours, four days of six hours, or six half-days of four hours, depending on the schedule you choose.

Does the training satisfy PMI's 23-hour education requirement?

Yes. The 24-hour programme exceeds PMI's 23-hour project management education prerequisite, so completing it fully satisfies that eligibility requirement before you apply for the exam.

Are practice questions and mock tests included?

Yes. CAPM practice questions aligned to the 150-question, three-hour closed-book format are included, along with industry case studies and first-attempt exam guidance from the trainer.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

Enrol through the Invensis Learning website, choose your format and schedule, and you get immediate access to courseware and session details. Live virtual cohorts run regularly, and onsite or one-to-one dates can be arranged around you. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor.

What training formats are available in Nuremberg?

Online (live virtual) instructor-led training, onsite corporate group training at your premises, and focused one-to-one sessions on a customised schedule. All formats deliver the same 24 hours of PMI-aligned content.

Do I need to apply to PMI before the training?

No. Complete the training first, because it provides the 23 hours of project management education PMI requires. You then apply to PMI, pay the exam fee and schedule through Pearson VUE within your one-year eligibility window.

Can I reschedule or move to another batch?

Yes. Contact our support team and they will move you to a suitable upcoming cohort. Options vary by the plan you selected, so check what applies to your booking.

What support do I get after the training ends?

Post-training support continues after your last session, covering exam preparation questions and guidance on the PMI application, including how to document your education if you are selected for audit.
