    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the Examination Content Outline effective 2023: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks and Methodologies, and Business Analysis Frameworks. It is grounded in the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and the Agile Practice Guide.

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. The exam is closed book and uses single-answer and multiple-answer formats.

    Where can I take the CAPM exam?

    You can sit the exam through Pearson VUE, either online with OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM exam?

    PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis, and your performance is reported across the four CAPM domains as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

    What happens if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    You are allowed up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our practice questions and mock exams are designed to help you prepare thoroughly and approach the exam with confidence.
