    What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the EXIN examination specification and aligned to the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto. It can be taken online with proctoring or at an accredited test location.

    How many questions are on the ASF exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 60 minutes (one hour). It is closed book, so preparation with mock exams is the best way to build readiness.

    What is the passing score for the EXIN ASF exam?

    The passing score is 65%, which means answering at least 26 out of 40 questions correctly. Our mock exams and practice questions are mapped to this threshold to help you prepare.

    What topics does the ASF exam cover?

    Yes. ASF is designed for complete beginners and requires no prior agile or Scrum knowledge. The training builds understanding step by step, from the agile mindset to the full Scrum framework, with hands-on examples and practice.

    What will I learn in the ASF training?

    You will learn the agile way of thinking, the Scrum framework, agile planning and estimation, monitoring Scrum projects, and advanced Scrum concepts. This maps to the five EXIN examination topic areas and prepares you for the exam.

    Is the courseware aligned with the current EXIN syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation examination specification and reflects the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto, so you study the current, authoritative foundation for the exam.

    How long is the training and what format is it delivered in?

    The instructor-led programme runs for 16 hours, typically over two full days, with an extended four half-day option also available. It is delivered live virtual, in classroom, or as corporate group training.

    Yes. The training includes EXIN-aligned practice questions and mock exams that mirror the 40-question format and 65% pass mark, helping you identify weak areas and build confidence before the exam.
