How many exams are in the combined AgilePM programme?

There are two separate exams. The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, with a 50% pass mark (25 out of 50). The Practitioner exam has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each (60 marks total) in 2 hours, open book, with a 50% pass mark (30 out of 60).

What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is a closed-book, single-answer multiple-choice test of 50 questions in 40 minutes. You need 50% to pass, and it covers the AgilePM philosophy, principles, lifecycle, roles, products, MoSCoW prioritisation and timeboxing.

What does 'open book' mean for the Practitioner exam?

The AgilePM Handbook is permitted during the Practitioner exam. However, the four scenario-based questions require analysis and judgment, so efficient handbook navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential rather than simple look-ups.

Which standard are the AgilePM exams based on?

Both exams are aligned to the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook, published by the Agile Business Consortium, and to the latest AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

How and where do I sit the AgilePM exams?
