    Does this course make me a Green Belt or Black Belt?

    The training covers six areas: the history, philosophy and business case for Six Sigma; key concepts and terminology; the DMAIC methodology; Six Sigma roles and structure; an awareness-level look at the core tools; and Lean Six Sigma in practice.

    What is DMAIC and is it covered in the course?

    Yes, DMAIC is central to the course. DMAIC stands for Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control, the five-phase Six Sigma roadmap for improving existing processes. You learn what happens in each phase and how tollgate reviews keep decisions data-driven.

    Which Six Sigma tools will I learn about?

    You gain awareness of the key tools used in DMAIC projects, including SIPOC, fishbone (Ishikawa) diagrams, Pareto charts, control charts, measurement system analysis and process capability. The aim is to understand what each tool does, not to use them at practitioner depth.

    How long is the training?

    The course runs for one day, a total of eight hours. It can be delivered as a single full day or as two half-days, covering all six modules with discussion and case examples throughout.

    Is the content suitable for complete beginners?

    Yes. The course is built for a general audience with no assumed background in quality or statistics. Every concept is explained in plain language, making it a comfortable and useful starting point for anyone in Brazil.
