Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

The PMP (Project Management Professional) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead predictive, agile and hybrid projects. It suits project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Belgium with project leadership experience.

    General

What is the PMP certification and who is it for?

The PMP (Project Management Professional) is PMI's flagship credential and the global gold standard for project managers. It validates your ability to lead predictive, agile and hybrid projects. It suits project managers, team leads and delivery professionals in Belgium with project leadership experience.

Is the PMP worth it in Belgium?

Yes. PMP holders in Belgium typically command a salary premium of around 25% over non-certified peers, and certified project managers are in strong demand across IT, pharma, finance and logistics. It is a recognised route into senior project and PMO roles.

Is the PMP recognised in Belgium?

Yes. The PMP is recognised in over 200 countries and is valued by Belgian and international employers, including multinationals and the EU institutions. It is frequently listed as required or preferred in project management job specifications.

What are the prerequisites for the PMP?

There are two paths. Path A: a four-year degree, 36 months leading projects and 35 contact hours of project management education. Path B: a secondary diploma, 60 months leading projects and the same 35 contact hours. This training provides the education requirement.

How long is the PMP certification valid?

The PMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle within each three-year continuing certification requirements cycle, with a minimum of 8 PDUs in each area.

    Pricing

How much does PMP training cost in Belgium?

Instructor-led PMP training fees in Belgium vary by format and cohort and are quoted in euros; pricing is available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately in USD. Request a quote to see current options and any group pricing.

What is included in the PMP course fee?

The fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, the 35 contact hours, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, downloadable templates, application guidance and learner support, along with a course completion certificate.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing, currently around USD 405 for members and USD 555 for non-members for reference; verify at pmi.org. PMI membership can lower the exam cost and gives access to the PMBOK Guide.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMP exam?

The PMP is a closed-book exam using multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank questions. It is delivered via Pearson VUE, either online proctored or at a test centre, and is scenario-based rather than pure recall.

How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

The PMP exam has 180 questions and lasts 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes), including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. Preparing to this format helps you manage your time on exam day.

Which edition is the PMP exam based on?

The exam references PMI's PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, and covers roughly half predictive and half agile or hybrid content. Our courseware is aligned to the 8th edition standard.

What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. The result is set through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement. Focus on broad mastery across all domains.

How many attempts do I get if I do not pass?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. A re-examination fee applies to the second and third attempts. Our mock exams and prep support are designed to help you pass on your first attempt.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the PMP training?

The training covers project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based methods, agile frameworks, business analysis and strategic management, and stakeholder engagement and communication, aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, plus exam strategy.

Does the PMP training cover agile?

Yes. About half the exam content reflects agile or hybrid approaches, so the training covers Scrum, Kanban, Lean and hybrid delivery alongside predictive methods, preparing you to tailor the right approach to each project.

Does the course provide the 35 contact hours needed for PMP?

Yes. The programme delivers the project management education hours that count toward the 35 contact hours PMI requires to apply for the exam, along with a certificate documenting your training.

Are mock exams and practice questions included?

Yes. The programme includes scenario-based practice questions, full-length mock exams and an exam simulator mapped to the current exam content, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness before test day.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to PMI's PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and the current PMP Examination Content Outline, so you prepare against the exact standard the exam tests.

    Enrollment

What are the eligibility requirements to enrol?

Anyone can enrol in the training. To sit the PMP exam, PMI requires either a four-year degree with 36 months leading projects, or a secondary diploma with 60 months, plus 35 contact hours of project management education, which this course provides.

How do I enrol in the PMP course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, PMI-aligned courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing a batch.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom training and customised corporate group training across Belgium, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

Can I reschedule or transfer to another batch?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include a pass to attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations are handled per our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
