    The PMI-CP exam has 120 questions. It is closed book and uses multiple-choice formats, including single-answer and multiple-answer questions, based on the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline.

    How long is the PMI-CP exam?

    You have 230 minutes, which is 3 hours 50 minutes, to complete the 120-question PMI-CP exam.

    What are the PMI-CP exam domains and weights?

    The exam covers four domains: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%), per the official PMI-CP ECO.

    What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement.

    Where can I take the PMI-CP exam in Belgium?

    You can sit the PMI-CP exam online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre in Belgium. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or Pearson VUE.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    What are the prerequisites for the PMI-CP?

    PMI-CP has two parts. You complete four mandatory self-paced modules, then meet one experience set: Set A (secondary diploma plus 60 months), Set B (bachelor's plus 36 months) or Set C (GAC-accredited degree plus 24 months), each with 35 contact hours of PM education.

    What are the four mandatory PMI-CP modules?

    Before applying you complete four self-paced modules in any order, each awarding 14 PDUs (56 in total): Project Communications, Interface Management, Scope and Change Order Management, and Contract and Risk Management.

    What topics does the PMI-CP training cover?

    The training covers the four exam domains: Contracts Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategy and Scope Management, and Project Governance, plus contract types, claims, change control, risk, governance and exam strategy.

    Do I need prior experience to attend?

    Anyone managing or moving into construction projects can attend the training. To sit the exam, PMI requires construction project management experience and 35 contact hours of PM education, which the programme supports.
